Apple TV+ is commemorating the 20th anniversary of the September 11th attacks in New York and Virginia with the release of a new documentary that tells the story of that day.
‘9/11: Inside the President’s War Room’ is now streaming via the Apple TV app and it covers the hours after the attacks on the World Trade Center towers in New York and The Pentagon in Virginia.
Experience the events of September 11, 2001 through the eyes of President Bush and his closest advisors as they personally detail the crucial hours and key decisions from that historic day.
The documentary is available to stream via Apple TV+ worldwide, except for those in the United Kingdom. Viewers in the UK can watch via the BBC iPlayer app which also feeds into the Apple TV app.
The documentary is narrated by Jeff Daniels and gives us a look at footage that has never been seen before, including testimony U.S. President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, and other officials. There are also more than 200 photos that have never been published as well as archived footage from the day, too.
This documentary could be a must-watch, as difficult as it will be, for those of us who remember September 11, 2001.
