With rumors circulating that Apple will increase the screen size of the upcoming Apple Watch Series 7, newly-leaked photos of Apple Watch bands appear to all but confirm that fact.
New bands in 41mm and 45mm configurations have now been pictured.
The first of the bands appears to be a leather one shared to Twitter by DuanRui.
The images came from Chinese social network Weibo and clearly show 45mm printed on a leather band. However, it’s so zoomed-in that it’s impossible to confirm what we’re looking at.
However, another tweet by leaker Majin Bu shows a blue Nylon Braided Solo Loop with 41mm printed on it. The tweet suggests that Apple Watch bands have now gone into mass production and that they are the same size as previous models — just with different sizing information.

That would back up previous reports that 40mm and 44mm bands will still fit the new Apple Watch Series 7. It would also mean that the new watch would work just fine with the older bands, too.
According to my source, Apple has started mass production of the new Apple Watch Series 7 bands. The size mentioned are 41 and 45mm which should be identical in size to the previous models #Apple #AppleInternal pic.twitter.com/cadcaCK324

If everything goes as we expect it to, Apple will announce the Apple Watch Series 7 within the next few weeks. Some have suggested it will happen alongside the iPhone 13 announcement next month, although it seems more likely an October announcement is in the cards so as not to take attention away from Apple’s hero product.
