Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro Could Get 8GB Of RAM For The First Time

Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro could be the first iPhone to ship with a massive 8GB of RAM, according to a new report. That’s the same amount of RAM Apple ships many of its Macs with.

Apple’s current flagship iPhones come with 6GB of RAM inside while many of the flagship devices in the Android world have as much as twice that amount.

However, iOS doesn’t require as much RAM as Android which allows Apple to get away with a smaller amount in its high-end hardware.

However, “yeux1122” who has posted to Korean blog Naver, happens to be the same person that predicted some aspects of last year’s iPad mini refresh. And according to them, Apple’s supply chain says that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro Max will benefit from a RAM bump. MacRumors was the first to spot the report.

It is said that the RAM installed in the iPhone 14 Pro to be released this year will be 8 GB.

The parts related to the supply with related companies have already been confirmed, and the scheduling for mass production seems to proceed faster. The new Galaxy flagship model and RAM have become the same.

It’s important to remember that this doesn’t guarantee that the news is correct, although this particular leaker does have a reasonable track record thanks to their iPad mini prediction.

Apple is expected to announce its iPhone 14 lineup in or around September with four new devices set to go on sale.
