Early Mario Day Deals Include Steep Discounts On Nintendo Switch Games

Mario just couldn't wait until his special day to try to hop, skip, and jump into the homes of Nintendo Switch owners. Ahead of Mario Day--otherwise known as March 10 (MAR10)--a bunch of games starring the mustachioed movie star and his Mushroom Kingdom pals are on sale for great prices at major retailers.

All of the official Mario Day deals below are available through March 11, though it's likely that some games will sell out at select retailers before then. In fact, Amazon has already sold out of a few titles.

Mario Day promotions are essentially mini-Black Friday sales only featuring Nintendo (mainly Super Mario) products. That means you can get a variety of Nintendo Switch exclusives for $40, a price rarely seen for most of the games on offer.

Basically every major Mario game for Switch is discounted for Mario Day. If you're looking for a traditional Mario platformer, the trifecta of Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe are up for grabs. Alternatively, you can make your own Mario fun with Super Mario Maker 2 or race against other Mushroom Kingdom residents in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. With the next wave of Booster Course Pass tracks releasing March 9, now's a great time to pick up the kart racer.

Mario's pals are also coming to the party (yes, Mario Party Superstars is included) with deals on Luigi's Mansion 3, Yoshi's Crafted World, and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.
